My daughter Jodie, last week on a night out in Manchester. I'm proud of publishing my first novel. But not as proud as I am of my gorgeous children and grandson!

Finally, after four years of fairly constant struggle, self-doubt, panic, fear, determination, stubborness and dogged refusal to give in, my first novel is published. I've chosen to set up a publishing house to do it, because I believe that self-publishing and Print on Demand are revolutionising the publishing industry and that New Publishing, a phrase first coined by one of the gurus of the movement, Aaron Shepard, is here to stay.
